Annette Gil - Touch Me, Feel Me
Sweden’s Annette Gil is the lead singer of Pink Nun, a Z-GR! Radio favorite. Before Pink Nun, she was releasing solo material going back to the early 2010s. I spent some time digging through her catalog and landed on Touch Me, Feel Me from her 2013 album Desert Disco. It’s an early track, but you can already hear the creativity and style that would evolve into what she’s doing with the Nuns now.
Yota - The Hunger
Yota is a Swedish singer-songwriter known for blending dark alternative textures with electro-electric sophistication. She’s well known in the synthwave community through appearances on major compilations and her work alongside artists in the orbit of FM-84. I first featured her way back on Episode 6, and it’s great to have her back on the show with ‘The Hunger’ from her 2023 album Room 412.
Bec Sandridge - Healthy Shock
Australia’s Bec Sandridgea has been a steady presence on the show since Episode 10 — she’s been on Z-GR! Radio seven times now, including our Best of Episode 50, and I’ve been featuring her work from the early stuff right through to where she is now. This track, Healthy Shock, comes off her latest record 2025’s ‘Happy Futures’ and it really shows why she’s been picking up so much momentum.

Everything In Colour - Keep On Running
Everything In Colour is an Adelaide-based husband-and-wife duo, Dan and Lisa Sutherland. Their first release goes back to 2019, and they’ve been steadily releasing material since – they have a great sound – I’ve grabbed their 2022 track Keep On Running for their first appearance on the show.
Sam Saint Jones / Samuel Muir - London Girl
Sam Saint Jones is the indie rock alias of Australian musician and producer Samuel Muir, who also goes by the name Veptune – London Girl is off of his 2021 concept album ‘Man In The Moon’, which is outstanding – I love the album and I love this track for it’s great modern 80’s vibe.
Zero-G Racetrack - Hard to Believe
I really do feel that with ‘Hard To Believe’ we captured the essence of Zero-G Racetrack’s first wave of songs. It sits perfectly in the Modern SynthRock pocket; the guitars rock out without overwhelming (squeals and all), the synths add the perfect flavor and the vocal hook in Chorus really sells the track. Bill Williams’ vocal harmony production is outstanding – Damia Foti’s background singing adds the perfect support to my lead vocal.

Isaac Howlett - Eggshell - Radio Edit
UK artist Isaac Howlett is best known as the voice of dark synth-pop band Empathy Test. In 2024, he began releasing solo material, exploring a more stripped-back and electronic direction, while still carrying that same emotional vocal identity that defined the band’s sound. For his first showing on Z-GR! Radio, I went with 2024’s ‘Eggshell’.
Nouveau Arcade - Dancing With a Ghost
Seattle duo Nouveau Arcade is made up of Kevin Preston and Len Hotrum —they blend ‘80s synthpop, darkwave, and alt-rock into what they call Gothic Cyberpunk. ‘Dancing with a Ghost’ is a deep-cut from their 2026 debut Die Happy which they recorded in a 19th-century church for extra atmosphere .
Julie Hicklin - Seven Sins
UK artist Julie Hicklin is a British electronic and synth-pop artist known for her cinematic and atmospheric sound. She’s been active for several years through ongoing collaborations with electronic producers like Laykkah and Z-GR! Radio artist Alan Elettronico- this track, Seven Sins, follows her early 2026 release Truth Hurts and continues her work in the expanding modern dark-pop space.
Niina Soleil - Ramblin'
Niina Soleil is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter known for a sound that blends California indie-pop with subtle folk influences. I like her stuff a lot – this is her third appearance on the show – Ramblin’ was released on May 1st, 2026 as the second track from her double-single Welcome to the Dream.
The Kernow Mafia - Misty Mountain Hop
Led Zeppelin’s unnamed 4th album has some of the greatest classic rock songs ever recorded, and this week’s cover is a track that’s been historically overshadowed by the Legendary Stairway to Heaven’ – this snapshot of the late 60’s UK counterculture was only released as a single in the U.S., where it hit #12 on the charts – over time, however, it’s becoming an enduring Led Zeppelin fan favorite.
The Kernow Mafia were a band of Cornwall, UK teenagers managed by Chris Turner, a former who had previously worked with members of The Beatles. Their version of ‘Misty Mountain Hop’ expands on John Paul Jones’s keyboard groove, taking the track into a modern electronic/indie-pop aesthetic and it’s fantastic.
Chris Boddington - Hustlin'
Chris Boddington is back on the show to close things out – Chris is a UK based multi-instrumentalist producer based in the UK. I love his stuff, and this track, ‘Hustlin’, has been gaining traction on independent electronic and “alternative pop” radio stations, particularly in the UK and Europe.
