lofthouse leo - Just Keep Swimming
South African electronic / dance-music artist lofthouse leo has a long list of accomplishments and collaborators including Billy Ocean, Sinead O’Connor (RIP) and the Spice Girls – it’s been a while since his Episode 35 debut on the show, but his latest release, ‘Just keep swimming’ is excellent and it’s our opener this week.
Berlin Banter / Mark Reeder - Crystalline (Mark Reeder Remix)
Electronic artist Berlin Banter, AKA Chris Kobusch is from – you guessed it, Berlin – he’s new to the show, but episode15 Remixer Mark Reeder is not – his remix catalogue includes work for artists like Pet Shop Boys, Anne Clark and John Foxx and his Berlin club sound retooling of ‘Crystalline’ is outstanding.

Agency-V - Stupid Girl
Our cover this week is a mid-90’s new rock hit by Garbage, a band fronted by Scotland native Shirley Manson, one of the most charismatic women of the 90’s alt-rock scene – the track was produced by their drummer-cum-producer Butch Vig who produced Nirvana’s Nevermind is considered one of the generation’s greatest producers. The song is one of the biggest alt-rock hits of the 90’s, and is covered to great effect by UK-based electronic rock trio Agency-V – their take on ‘Stupid Girl’ shows both respect for the original while making it their own. Very, very cool.
Colin and the Clouds / Red Cell - Lipstick Gun (Red Cell Remix)
Colin and The Clouds is a Swedish electro-pop/indie-rock duo, made up of longtime friends Harald Eliasson and Matteus Willysson, and ‘Lipstick Gun’ is one of my favorite tracks to be featured on Z-GR! Radio. I’ve had the album version on the show a few times now, but not only is this remix great , it’s by Red Cell, who was featured waaaaay back on Episode 3.

Son of A Ghost - The Precious Want For Nothing
Utah’s Son of Ghost is a duo consisting of vocalist Kylee Watson and James Bradford; I first had them on the show back on Episode 24 and have been enjoying their ongoing releases – ‘Precious Want For Nothing’ was their second release of 2025 – I had it Episode 52 but it showed up as a re-release in my Release Radar and I decided to make sure you didn’t miss it.
Catherine Moan - Fools
Philadelphia’s Catherine Moan has been on Z-GR! Radio several times now – I had 2021’s ‘Fools’, which is awesome and leads her stream count, back on Episode 30 and decided it was time to spin it up again – make sure you check out Catherine’s twitch account under the username CATHMOAN.
Bec Sandridge - Claustraphobia
Z-GR! Radio favorite Australian indie-pop artist Bec Sandridge is back on the show, and although she’s had several quality releases in 2025, I do like to return occasionally to her 2022 EP Lost Dog, which blends elements of 80s synth-pop with modern indie sensibilities – I really love the entire EP, and “Claustrophobia” is a standout.

Zero-G Racetrack - Enjoy Today
Enjoy Today was the second release of my band Zero-G Racetrack – it’s about a sense of openness and emotional growth—by choosing to own your feelings and approach them without rigid plans, you can find a genuine, comforting happiness and all you need to do is take a deep breath and enjoy the day.

Entitled Sons - Lover Boy
The Entitled Sons is a British pop-rock band consisting of four teenage brothers—Billy , Charlie, Rafferty, and Laurie, along with their father, Graham Swift, who plays bass. “Lover Boy” is part of their upcoming debut studio album, No Clue, slated for release in Autumn 2025. It’s no secret that I’m a fan of the band and “Lover Boy” just might be my favorite track of theirs so far.
Split Second - Love Life Cycle
Split Second is an indie pop band out of the UK and made up of 4 good friends – Ava Hacket, Levi Husbands, Loiz Jephcott and Jack Barnett. ‘Love Life Cycle’ is their 2024 debut single, and they’ve been picking up steam by playing out regularly to good reviews. I really like what they’re doing, so check out their library and a ticket to a show of theirs if you get the chance.

Ox - Stop the Bus
Scotland’s J.J. McGowan is the drummer for one of my favorite rock bands and Episode 1 artist, Scotland’s the Future Us – JJ’s solo project Ox has also featured recently, and when I heard his latest, Stop the Bus, I stopped the Z-GR! Radio bus long enough to make sure that the track is onboard for this episode.
Andrew Paul Davis - Perch
American singer-songwriter and filmmaker Andrew Paul Davis is based in Chicago – he’s been releasing tracks since 2016 and received acclaim for his 2018 full length feature film Palace. I really dig the straight ahead rock vibe of 2023’s ‘Perch’ – it’s a great song and the video is definitely worth taking a look at.
Symphonic Noise Cult - My Figment
German dark pop band Symphonic Noise Cult was formed in 2023 by vocalist Scott Mick and Keyboardist Winus Rilinger with Ulrich A. Beutgen, a classically trained pianist and film composer coming on board to complet the trio- the band successfully blends dark pop, electronic, and gothic rock elements to create a fantastic sound – 2023’ debut single ‘My Figment’.
Barbara Sonnenstrahl - Special Agent
Germany’s Barbara Sonnenstrahl is a bit of an enigma – I stumbled across her October 2025 release Roonterkumun through a related link and really liked what I heard – ‘Special Agent’ has a very interesting soundscape with an excellent use of sonic space and really great sounding horns but above all it has a wonderfully danceable groove.
