Fulvio Colasanto / Iyes Keen - Follow You
Fulvio Colasanto’s first appearance on Z-GR! Radio was a 2022 joint with Salt Lake City darkwave artist Iyes Keen – it’s a prefect stylistic match, and the track, which features excellent guitar work by Swiss producer Dave Muther is considered a high water mark for all three artists for good reason – ‘Follow You’ is a fantastic track and worthy opener for this week’s show.

Black Cab - Rosler's Rules
Australia’s Black Cab is a favorite of mine, and is made up of Andrew Coates on vox, James Lee on guitars, and Wes Holland on drums – the band formed in Melbourne in 2004, and are known for their cinematic dance staples. ‘Rotsler’s Rules’ is a tribute to William Rotsler, who is credited for setting guidelines for cosplay standards at Sci-Fi conventions – strange, but cool and a fantastic track.

Melllo / Nikonn - We Are Young
MeLLLo is the solo project of London-based Marianthi Melitsi, known as Marianthi – this track is a joint with Greek Producer Nikkon, and it’s their second to appear on Z-GR! Radio – the first, Episode 13’s ‘Superstar’, is fantastic, so I decided to revisit the pairing with 2022’s We Are Young.

Catherine Moan - Soda Pop
It’s been far too long since I had ‘Soda Pop’ on the show – Philadelphia’s Catherine Moan AKA Angel Jefferson brings a fantastic wink and a nod to the innuendo-laden vocal. Angel is a gamer, can be found on Twitch under the username CATHMOAN, and has several videos for her tracks on YouTube, so check them out.
Pennan Brae - Do What You Do
Vancouver based Pennan Brae is back on the show with 2025’s ‘Do What You Do’, once again teamed with legendary drummer Steve Ferrone who lends his signature groove to the track. Pennan’s hard leaning into a classic rock vibe with some really great guitar work on this one, and I really like it.

Emma Dilemma - You Only Hate Me When You're Sad
Emma Dillema, AKA New Zealand’s Emma Cameron, hit the show on Episode 51 and I knew it wouldn’t be long before she was on again – ‘You Only Hate Me When You’re Sad’ is off of her 2025 ‘Ouch My Head Hurts’ EP, and I really dig the country vibe that kicks off what is an outstanding pop-punk anthem that leans into some very cool, very dirty synth sounds.

Toigo - Into the Sun
Vancouver’s Toigo is known for blending pop, indie, and electronic elements – a Tsawwassen native of BC,Toigo is also known for advocacy in environmental issues, promoting sustainability and raising awareness about ecological concerns, which is very cool. ‘Into the Sun’ is off of 2023’’s ‘I Feel This Love Turn Cold – it’s a great record so make sure you check it out.
The Wildflower Collective - Daisy's Journey
The Wildflower Collective are part of a newer wave of indie folk that blends the classic singer-songwriter approach with modern production and a digital social reach. I came across the Wildflower Collective through newartistspotlight.org, and as soon as I heard the crazy great vocal on ‘Daisy’s Journey’, I was hooked. I debuted the track back on Episode 17, and I’ve had them on since, but this track is really, really great so it’s up for a second spin.

Ox - Quiet Down
Scotland’s OX, aka J.J. McGowan is back on the show with his latest, ‘Quiet Down’. For those paying attention, JJ is also the drummer for one of my favorite rock bands, the Future Us, who has multiple appearances on Z-GR! Radio – JJ’s known for pulling one-man band duties using his looper pedals onstage, and he does it well enough to be voted Radio Wigwam’s Best Indie Act of 2025.
Chroma Cloud - Knights of Cydonia
I, like most, am a big fan of Muse, and my favorite Muse track far and away is 2006’s ‘Knights of Cydonia’. It was the third single release from their Black Holes and Revelations record, and hit the #10 spot on Billboard’s Modern Rock Track chart becoming their third top-ton hit on that chart.
Chroma Cloud is a synthwave duo out of Columbus, Ohio made up of Jamie Ravine and Brian Skeel – I had their first single release ‘Mine’ way back on Episode 8 and mentioned that I was looking forward to their future releases – I never, ever saw this one coming – their cover of Knights of Cydonia is nothing short of amazing – seriously, this is one of the best covers I’ve had on the show, and that’s saying something, no lie.
Estiva - Sudden Moves
Dutch-born Steven Baan, AKA Estiva, launched his career in 2007 and has since become a defining voice in melodic electronic music – Our closer this week is the completely awesome ‘Sudden Moves’, the third single in front of his 2025 album release ‘Embrace’.
