Matt Dusk - Back In Town (Again)
I found Matt Dusk on an Electro Swing playlist and was blown away. He is not by any stretch an emerging artist – he has three number one radio hits, four gold albums and four platinum albums among his achievements, but truth to tell, Electro Swing is super cool and this track is so good I decided to open the show with it.
Salme Dahlstrom - Let's Swing
I was first exposed to Electro Swing through Salme Dahlstrom’s 2023 record ‘Fabulous’ and first featured a track from the album back on Episode 10. For this show, I took another listen through the record and decided that everyone needs to hear ‘Let’s Swing’.

Estella Dawn - Vixen
Estella Dawn is a New Zealander in San Diego by way of Colorado, comes from a musical background and has a great social media presence. I first heard her back in 2022 and since then, she has blown things up and deservedly so. SHe’s got a ton of great tracks, and I reached back to 2021 for ‘Vixen, a track which perfectly showcases Estella’s voice and lyrical prowess.

Sadie Fine - Friends With Benefits
It’s no secret that I like women with attitude, and 19 year old Clarksville, Tennessee native Sadie Fine has attitude to burn. I also love good lyrical storytelling, and I like the way Sadie weaves her lyrical marks around a competent and catchy pop track.

Pop Noir - Santa Ana
UK expats Pop Noir are now in Los Angeles and are brother Joe and Luke McGarry – I’ve had them on the show several times now, first with ‘Santa Ana’, which is awesome, as well as their excellent cover of U2’s ‘New Year’s Day’, so make sure you check them out.

M4D - Mirror Dance
MD4 is an electronic music project by Danish producer and DJ Morten Dybdal Møller, also known as Morten Alick. I really dig ‘Mirror Dance’, a eally, really cool track which leans into a catchy bass riff while showcasing multiple multiple musical styles.
The Soviet Union - As Long As You Are Mine
‘As Long As You Are Mine’ by Richard Baldwin, AKA The Soviet Union, just might be my favorite of all of the Z-GR! Radio artist tracks. That’s saying something, so let me explain – everything in this track, from the droning progression, straight forward drum track and airy synth pads work to support a vocal that makes me not only believe every word of the lyric, but serves to empathise with his struggle to maintain control of his emotions.
Gunship - Eleanor Rigby
I’ve had a lot of really, really great covers on the show, but this cover of the Beatles’ classic ‘Eleanor Rigby’ ranks among the absolute best of the best, as they’ve managed to move the track into the synthwave genre while maintaining the emotional and sonic integrity of the original. This track is a great example of why Gunship has a massive and well deserved following.
Amulet / Stabbing Westward - Last-Ditch (Stabbing Westward Remix)
The brainchild of Washington, DC-based artists MJ Phoenix and Stephanie Stryker, Amulet is known for their dynamic blend of dark alternative, electronic rock, and goth influences, complemented by powerful female vocals. Released on October 14, 2022, this remix reimagines Amulet’s original song “Last Ditch” with Stabbing Westward’s distinctive industrial sound.

Sea Fever - Breaking Out - Edit
Sea Fever is a five-piece band from Manchester, England, formed in 2019 – I really dig their sound, which is a blend of electronica, rock, and ’80s dance music. ‘Breaking Out’ is from forthcoming second album, Surface Sound, which is scheduled for release this summer.
Close to Monday - Leaves
Close to Monday is a German electro-synthpop duo – Alexander began the project as an instrumental endeavor, later inviting Ann to join, which added lyrical depth and vocals to their music.- 2024’s “Leaves” debuted on Episode 26 and I really like the track – they just released a 5 track EP that’s worth checking out for sure.

Cavedoll - My House
‘My House’ is by Cavedoll, an alternative electronic band originating from Utah. The song is featured on their 2016 EP, Sleepwalking Days. Cavedoll was formed in the late 1980s by Camden Ray, who sought to create a cult in Utah’s high desert, aiming for cash, free love, and solid beats. While the cult didn’t materialize, they do have some cool tracks to show for their efforts.
